A diverse personal and professional background gives Dr. Ty Treutelaar proven abilities to facilitate and communicate effective Compliance strategies, office management techniques, and provider review performance analysis. Expertise in the initiation, development, operation, protection, and recovery of service oriented businesses; combined with demonstrated abilities to strengthen relationships based on principled business ethics allows Dr. Treutelaar to consistently focus on meaningful strategic and operational positions for the clients of ProMed.
Dr. Treutelaar provides ProMed clients with over twenty five years of firsthand experience in patient care, physician education, and business operations. He has successfully addressed the needs and expectations of clients and peers both domestically and internationally on a wide variety of subjects including the development and implementation of Medical Coding Compliance Manuals and Provider Education. Over fifteen years of full P&L responsibilities allows Dr. Treutelaar to assist with mergers and acquisitions, and compliance strategies for asset protection and revenue flow.

Educational & Professional Involvement
Dr. Treutelaar is a graduate of Logan of Chiropractic where he served as a radiological consultant. While majoring in Mathematics and Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, Dr. Treutelaar served as a teaching assistant for the history and sociology departments. As a practicing physician, Dr. Treutelaar developed and instituted procedures allowing for successful multi-site and multi-disciplinary operations. Dr. Treutelaar is a past advisory board member of Amoco Oil Company and BP of North America. In that capacity Dr. Treutelaar served as the Amoco Board Facilitator, Chairman of the Economics Committee, and numerous other ad hoc committees including oversight of the BP/Amoco merger and operational response to Hurricane Katrina. A strong history of experience in the development, implementation, and oversight of government regulation and compliance for the transportation, environmental, and healthcare industries; allows for ProMed clients to have access to a depth of experience and advice that is not commonly available.
