ProMed has the ability to function as an Independent Review Organization (IRO) within the directives and requirements of a Corporate Integrity Agreement (CIA). If it comes down to the time when you need a cost-effective solution with expert experience, we can fulfill your needs.
As an IRO, we will assign experienced professionals to conduct the Claims Review and Unallowable Cost review with billing, medical coding, and clear reporting capabilities. We are leading the way with appropriate statistical sampling techniques. Our individuals are certified coders through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), have maintained their certifications, and are dedicated to working with integrity. We also complete our work in a timely fashion as deemed appropriate by the Office of the Inspector General (OIG), and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
